其实 Epic Games 早在 2021年的 3月就已经收购了《Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout》的游戏开发团队 Mediatonik，而在这则消息公诸于世之后，引起了不少玩家的焦虑。在那则公告里虽然表示他们当时并没有让游戏转型成免费游戏的想法，不过这在官方于 5月公布游戏会成为免费游戏的时候就代表团队在近期改变了心意。
